“Four Leaf Clover” is the second single heading up towards the release of Nick Pride & The Pimptones’ new album “Ideology”, which will be released on September 4, 2020 in digital formats and as a limited edition vinyl LP.


The Pimptones showcase their pop sensibilities with a punchy slice of disco soul. This Chic inspired cut is made for the dancefloor, harmonically sophisticated without straying too far from the familiar.


Nick Pride explains the story told in the song: “The lyrics are inspired by how the overly filtered world of social media effects our expectations of love - "We’re chasing a dream, believing it’s real, hoping we’ll find someone measuring up to ideal". This time though the story has a happy ending, our hero finds her four leaf clover!”
